On behalf of Bonding Against Adversity, Inc. we would like to thank all the volunteers and a special thanks goes to the Best Buys volunteers and the other organizations; East Aldine Management District, La Teloloapan; Woman Center; Ecuadorian Consulate; Mexican Consulate; Houston Intercontinental Chamber of Commerce and many others who help us at the last week’s play at the La Primavera hall, which play’s purpose was to help the community be aware of domestic violence, how to say no to domestic violence and how to build healthier families. Also we were able to provide resources for the families in need of counseling sessions and remedies in case they have this situation at home.
Thank you also all the volunteers and special thanks our great partner Lone Star College North-Harris who helped us with the annual immigration forum at Lone Star College-North Harris. We were able to help more than 400 families in need of a free consultation with a lawyer, to complete their citizenship application and otherwise help them to become citizens of the USA. We are proud to announce that at this forum we received a Resolution from the United States Congress, presented by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, for the work that Bonding Against Adversity, Inc. has been doing in the community.
