METRO is excited to begin recruitment for Class IV of the METRO Transit Academy. The Transit Academy program is designed to enhance awareness about METRO, create partnerships with the community and to develop a platform for transit advocacy efforts in the Houston region.
METRO graduated three great classes and Class IV of the METRO Transit Academy begins Wednesday, October 2, 2013 and will consist of seven (7) weekly evening sessions scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A key component of the program is that participants will take their new knowledge and put it to use by designing individual action plans that they will implement in their community.
If you are interested, applications should be submitted no later than Friday, September 13, 2013.
