HCFCD Units P118-26-00, P518-26-01 and P518-26-02 – Bond Project C-01
The Harris County Flood Control District will hold a Community Engagement Meeting for the Halls Bayou Tributary P118-26-00 and Related Stormwater Detention project. The purpose of this meeting is to inform residents about the status of the project and share project information.
The purpose of the Halls Bayou Tributary P118-26-00 and Related Stormwater Detention project is to reduce flood risks in the Halls Bayou watershed by providing channel conveyance modifications on tributary P118-26-00 and connection to stormwater detention basins P518-26-01 and P518-26-02. The project includes the entire one-mile length of Tributary P118-26-00, which is located north of Halls Bayou and east of Airline Drive from near Holtman Street to the confluence of Halls Bayou. The proposed stormwater detention basin sites are located adjacent to tributary P118-26-00 near E. Helms Road. This project will be funded with bonds approved by Harris County voters on August 25, 2018. Community engagement is an important component of the Bond Program, and we invite your participation as the program is implemented.
