This September Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group of Aldine-Harris County, is hosting its 16th Annual Family Strengthening Conference.
This event will be held on Saturday, September 7th at the M.O. Campbell Educational Center in Houston, Texas from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The Conference is a FREE community event provided to help spread the awareness of health, mental health, family issues and other situations that Grandparents and kinship face when raising children. Participants will be offered free health screenings, school supplies, educational materials designed to promote personal health and wellness, and a variety of resources from keynote speakers as well as agencies.
This will be an exceptional opportunity for your organization to showcase its services/products and show support of family wellness. We are asking that each vendor donate for the participants. There are options listed on the vendors form. If you are not able to we do understand. It is our desire that each family will receive a backpack filled with school supplies per student in their family unit.
