In May, the East Aldine Disaster Preparedness Resource Fair empowered our community with essential knowledge on staying safe during hurricanes, floods, and other emergencies. Attendees learned the importance of emergency kits, plan evacuation routes, and protect their families and neighbors.
Thanks to our dedicated partners, valuable resources and information were shared, helping strengthen East Aldine’s resilience. Each attendee received emergency preparedness kits and smoke detectors from our local Westfield Fire Department. The East Aldine District also donated 2 generators and 75 hand-cranked radios for a community raffle.
Together, we’re building a safer, more connected community—because when one of us is prepared, we all are.
