At our last Board of Directors meeting, we proudly welcomed our Community Development Grant (CDC) recipients, including Precinct2Gether, Bonding Against Adversity, Hinojosa Outdoor Learning, and Diaz Music Institute—organizations recently approved for funding by the East Aldine District Board of Directors. These grants offer support for projects that enhance the East Aldine area. Through this initiative, the District aims to improve well-being, safety, and overall quality of life, while encouraging greater community involvement and a shared sense of identity and purpose.
We also celebrated academic excellence by recognizing the top Valedictorian and Salutatorian students from MacArthur and Avalos P-Tech. Congratulations to Kealsy, Alberto, Javier, and Daniel! Each student was honored with a billboard feature and presented them and their family with a mockup as a keepsake of their achievement.
