Houston Intercontinental Chamber of Commerce

The mission statement of the Chamber is to promote and stimulate business development and community involvement within the north Houston region.  A diverse group, with many large members such as ABS, Anadarko, Baker Hughes, CenterPoint Energy, Continental Airlines, Convergys, Exxon-Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Smith International, Stone Energy, Swift Energy, and Reliant Energy makes the Chamber the place to be if you wish to expand or grow your business. The Chamber also provides a forum for networking, community, educational, and social activities. In addition, the Chamber is proactive in creating partnerships with the other area organizations and management districts in the area to benefit the entire north Houston community. The North Houston Association leverages the expertise and relationships of its members to connect business and community leaders, influencing policy and legislation, while educating our region on issues that impact north Harris County and Montgomery County. BakerRipley Entrepreneur Connection

BakerRipley’s Entrepreneur Connection program supports local small businesses with resources, mentorship, and specialized training. With a recent grant from LISC and Kroger, the program focused on empowering Latinx and Black food entrepreneurs. As part of the initiative, BakerRipley helped develop two valuable toolkits—one for Business Development Organizations (BDOs) and another for small businesses—and is featured as a case study and contributor in each.
