Bonding Against Adversity held a Citizenship Workshop on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. The event had a high participation level from the community and Bonding Against Adversity was able to complete 45 N400 applications and assist more than 80 people with free attorney consultations.

Mariana Sanchez, Chief Operating Officer of Bonding Against Adversity, expressed her thanks.

“I would like to thank St. Leo the Great Catholic Church for hosting the workshop, the volunteers, and special guests.”

Congressman Gene Green, Sheriff Adrian Garcia and Texas House of Representative Armando Walle also participated by sharing comments with the community about the importance of becoming a United States citizen.

The next event will be held on July 20, 2013 at the Chinese Community Center, 9800 Town Park Drive, Houston, Texas.
