What Does a Burn Ban Mean? No outdoor burning is allowed except in an enclosure which contains all flames and/or sparks, outdoor burning activities authorized by Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), approved ceremonial fires, non-commercial cooking, and prescribed "hot work".
